Houston I have a problem

Preventing StillAlive from following tracking javascript

Follow

As the StillAlive workers have full javascript support, they will follow tracking javascript on your site. This can cause unwanted traffic showing up on site tracking systems such as gagu.es and google analytics.

To combat this, we have added several URLs to a black list that the StillAlive worker will never visit.

This list is currently:

http://secure.gaug.es/track.js
https://secure.gaug.es/track.js
https://ssl.google-analytics.com/ga.js
http://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js
http://ad.doubleclick.net
http://partner.googleadservices.com
http://api.mixpanel.com/site_media/js/api/mixpanel.js
https://api.mixpanel.com/site_media/js/api/mixpanel.js
http://api.mixpanel.com/site_media/js/api/mixpanel.2.js
https://api.mixpanel.com/site_media/js/api/mixpanel.2.js

This list will obviously grow and as it does, this support document will be updated. If you have a URL that you do not want StillAlive following, please let us know and we can add it to the list.

Note, we will be adding several ad serving websites as well to prevent false impressions and reduce traffic costs.
